So, lately, I've heard (and, to be fair, done) a fair share of complaining; "Miller did this. Council thinks that. McGuinty..." Well, let's leave THAT one alone.
We really can't win by taking that attitude, can we? (Before I start sounding sanctimonious, a lot of this comes along courtesy of some friends - who have said the same thing to me...)
They're right, and so;
It's time for us to find SOLUTIONS; what's GOING to work?
I challenge readers to come up with "out-of-the-box" solutions; heck, throw the box away! Give us radical solutions, ones that people have said "will never work", the very solutions that get the most opposition...
It's no longer just about consensus. I'd love to find something that will make every single person happy - but I'd be the very first politician ever to do that, so let's set the bar a little lower; let's see if we can take an original idea, tinker with it, torch it, move some parts around - and hammer it into something workable for the MAJORITY.
What do you say? Got That One Great Idea? Share it! (thanks!)
The best ideas will become part of policy, added to the campaign, and spoken aloud to thousands (and, if we get it right, eventually to millions.)
